Last Thursday I had the pleasure of visiting the Jane Ross Writers Group in Limavady. They had kindly invited me to read from my novel, Hitler and Mars Bars, and chat with them about the novel and my experiences as a writer.
David Todd, their chairman, and the rest of the group made me very welcome. They seem enthusiastic scribes and are keen to learn as much as possible about the art of putting pen to paper. We shared with each other, swapped tips and chatted – it was a really enjoyable morning.
I’d like to thank David and everyone who helped him organise the event – with a special mention for the people who brought such wonderful food for our lunch! Thanks also to Pauline Barnes for the use of the photos accompanying this post. I look forward to meeting members of the group again in future.
I’ll blame Tina for the grub. I think her full title is ‘Lady Tina De Burke’ 🙂 It was a great morning. Thanks!
