Amazon’s Breakthrough Novel Award Quarterfinalists were announced on Tuesday and now the Quarterfinalists’ book excerpts are available to download and read. This year they are available on Kindle or a Kindle enabled device – you can get the device on your computer by following their directions (they say it’s simple!):

The book cover is attractive and appeals to speculative curiosity.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is well crafted in description and narrative. Eric is a most believable character and the author attracts, through her characterisation of him, the readers sympathy and empathy. The Chapters are tidy and of convenient length. Other principle characters are well drwn out and the author has paced the whole work to form a compelling read throughout.
I would recommend HITLER AND MARS BARS to other people ad trust that it will eventially find as far as possible readership. I have already gomne out and bought a copy
